Which CAD formats can you work with?
STEP and IGES are ideal, and we also take SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, NX, JT and Parasolid files. If you can only supply 2D drawings, we can rebuild the geometry, as we did for CeramOptec.
Can we start with a small test project first?
Yes. Our pilot project is for first-time clients: $800 for three photoreal renders of one component or compact product, built from your CAD, on a white or grey studio background, with one revision round and an NDA included, delivered in 3 working days. It is one per company. Full machine assemblies and lines are quoted at our standard rendering prices. See the pilot project.
Will you sign an NDA before we send files?
Yes, always, and before any file moves. Machine CAD is among the most sensitive data a manufacturer has. We can sign yours or send ours.
How much does industrial 3D animation cost?
Published guides put high-quality industrial animation at roughly $5,000 to $20,000 per finished minute, and professional studios often quote $8,000 to $25,000. Our films start at $3,900 for a short feature animation and $7,900 for a full line film, and each further film from a machine we have already prepared costs 20 to 40 per cent less. See pricing.
How long does a project take?
Renders take 5 to 10 working days, feature films 2 to 4 weeks, and line or cinematic films 4 to 10 weeks. Tell us your trade show date at the start and we plan backwards from it.
Can you work before the machine is built?
Yes, and many clients do. Engineering CAD is enough to produce launch visuals months before the first unit is assembled.
Who owns the finished files?
You receive full, permanent commercial usage rights to every delivered render, film and interactive asset on final payment, worldwide and with no time limit. The source project files, meaning the scene files, shaders and rigs we build to produce them, stay with the studio, which is standard practice and is set out in our mutual NDA. Your own CAD data always remains yours.
How do we follow progress during the project?
Every project runs on a private, PIN-protected tracking portal. You receive the link and PIN with your order confirmation, and it shows the live timeline, work-in-progress previews and every approval with a timestamp. Your final files stay there afterwards. See the client portal.
Do you work with our existing agency?
Often. We prepare the CAD and produce the 3D, and your agency handles the campaign. Many agencies cannot open a machine assembly, which is exactly where we fit.
