From Physical Reference and CAD Data to 4K Digital Twins
Quick Info:
Industry: Digital Printing & Embellishment
Scope: Full-Scale System Visualization
Input: CAD Data (STEP) & Physical Photography
Output: Marketing-Grade Digital Twins
CHALLENGE
The JetFX system is a complex, multi-module industrial machine. Traditional photography struggled to capture the scale of the system while maintaining consistent lighting across various mechanical surfaces. The client required a unified suite of assets that could showcase the machine’s high-tech capabilities without the visual “noise” and logistical constraints of on-site photoshoots.
APPROACH
We utilized a Hybrid-Reference Workflow. By cross-referencing raw STEP files with physical unit photography, we ensured 1:1 material authenticity and geometric precision. Our process involved optimizing the full mechanical assembly and developing custom shaders to accurately represent the specialized UV inkjet modules and metallic components of the system.
Component & Module Clarity
Strategic focus was placed on the “Fusion” and inkjet stations. By isolating key modules and applying precision lighting, we highlighted the mechanical sophistication and build quality of the JetFX system, ensuring technical features are immediately understandable for global sales teams.
Final Visual Assets
Optimized for:
Digital Product Catalogs
Global Sales Presentations
Trade Show Visuals
Result
The project delivered a “Visual Master Standard” for the JetFX product line. The sales team now possesses a suite of high-fidelity assets that provide total brand consistency, allowing for clearer technical communication and a professional aesthetic that aligns with JetFX’s market-leading technology.
